Tuesday - Today we awoke to a rather cloudy day but our plate was full. We loaded a bus at 8am and headed on a trip around the city. We stopped along the Sydney Harbor and were able to take overlook photos. We then toured around the city and headed out to Bondi Beach, a very popular spot to surf (it was a bit to cold today). The students put their toes into the Pacific Ocean. By noon we arrived at the amazing Sydney Opera house and took a one-hour tour of the sculpture/building. Its history was fascinating. At the end we offered the group a chance to buy tickets to see the Sydney Orchestra perform. I was pleasantly surprised that 30 from our group decided to attend the Tchaikovsky concert tomorrow night. We grabbed a quick lunch and boarded a harbour cruise in the pouring rain. After an hour looking at the wild and colorful coastline and large expensive houses we arrived at Darling Harbour where we entered the Sydney Wildlife Park. We winced at the spiders and bugs, observed poisonous snakes, and were thrilled by the Koalas, Kangaroos and Butterflies. We ended the night at Darling Harbour to shop and eat. It was another amazing day!
